I the Shadow dialog we can set the drop shadow of an image or selection. We can specify the style of the shadow: Bottom-Right, Bottom-Left, Top-Right, Top-Left and Center. Using the "Intensity" slider we can set the intensity of the shadow. A value of 5 will result in a very dark shadow and a value of -5 will result in a light shadow. Using the "Size" slider we can set the amount of blur applied on the shadow. With the "X-offset" and "Y- offset" we can specify the distance of the shadow from the image.
